Detailed Itinerary

On the first day, you will depart from Arusha or Moshi and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti, where an afternoon game drive in the Seronera region introduces you to lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and, seasonally, the Great Migration.

Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti National Park. En route, enjoy views of Maasai villages and rolling savannah landscapes. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in the Seronera region, which is famous for predator sightings and the seasonal Great Migration (if in season). Overnight stay will be at a mid-range lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti, where you will enjoy dinner and comfortable lodging.

Day 2: Full Day Serengeti Exploration – Ngorongoro

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active and the light is perfect for photography. Spend the morning exploring the Serengeti plains, spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and herds of wildebeests. After lunch, depart the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive at a mid-range lodge or tented camp on the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay with breathtaking views of the crater.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore the crater floor and encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, lions, and possibly rare black rhinos. A picnic lunch is served at the hippo pool before ascending the crater in the afternoon. Return to Arusha or Moshi, completing your 3-day mid-range safari with unforgettable wildlife and landscapes.
